Sir Alexander Lindsay

Sir Alexander was born about 1310 in Castle Crawford, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Sir Alexander's father was Lord of Crawford Sir David De Lindsay and his mother was Mary de Abernethy. His maternal grandfather was Sir Alexander de Abernethy. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Philip, Sir William, Sir James, Beatrix and Margaret. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in 1381 in Castle Crawford, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹
