Ada Garrett Joyce 
Ada Garrett was born on July 30th, 1891 in Stoneville, Rockingham Co, NC.1 Ada Garrett's father was Robert Francis 'Frank' Joyce and her mother was Mary Alice Garrett. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Alexander Joyce and Martha Jane Roberts. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert Frank, Edwin, Daisy and Mary. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 67 on August 18th, 1958 in Scotland Neck, Halifax Co, NC. She was buried on August 20th, 1958 in Stoneville Cemetery, Stoneville, Rockingham Co, NC.1 1 General Notes
