James Jackson [@@] was born on December 21st, 1830.1 James Jackson [@@]'s father was Sion [@@] Hunt and his mother was Priscilla Kendrick [@@] Thornton. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin T [Sr @@] Thornton and Sarah E [@@] Upshaw. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin Thornton [@@], Reuben Smith [@@], T W Harrison [@@], Dosier Calloway [@@], Daniel Crumley [@@], Mary Elizabeth [@@], Frances Jane [@@] and Emily Priscilla [@@]. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 32 on July 25th, 1863 in Weschester Co, VA.-
