Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin T [Sr @@] Thornton and Sarah E [@@] Upshaw. She had six brothers and two sisters, named James Jackson [@@], Benjamin Thornton [@@], Reuben Smith [@@], T W Harrison [@@], Dosier Calloway [@@], Daniel Crumley [@@], Mary Elizabeth [@@] and Frances Jane [@@]. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 60 on April 2nd, 1907.-
