Richard Hawte 
Richard was born about 1438 in Waltham, Kent, England. Richard's father was Sheriff of Kent William Hawte and his mother was Joan Woodville. His maternal grandparents were Richard Wydeville and Joan Bedlisgate. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Sheriff of Kent Sir William, Edward, James, Alice, Anne, Joan, Elizabeth and Margaret. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died on April 8th, 1487 in Mote, Maidstone, Kent, England.-
