His maternal grandparents were Elbert Wells OLIVER and Louisa E. McKINLEY. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Oscar, John Quincy (Sr), Fred (twin), Edward Byron (twin), Leroy, Louella, Jennie May, Ada Marie, Margaret Mildred and Baby Girl. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 in January 1964 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN.General Notes
