Betsy Givens 
Betsy was born about 1807 in Logan County, Kentucky. Betsy's father was Allen Givens and her mother was Martha Robertson. Her maternal grandparents were James Robertson and Margaret Poage. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James, William Tompkin, Polly, Margaret and Jane. She was the second youngest of the six children.General Notes
