James Robertson 
James was born in 1657 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 James' father was Rev. William Robertson and his mother was Eleanor Pitcairn. His paternal grandparents were William Robertson of Gladney and Anna Marie Mitchell; his maternal grandparents were David Pitcairn and Mary Ann Anderson. He had five brothers named Jeffery, William, Thomas, George and Nicholas. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 48 in 1705 in Henrico County, Virginia.1 General Notes
