Alexander Andrew Pitcairn 
Alexander was born in 1560 in Ayrshire, Scotland.1 Alexander's father was 16th Laird of Dreghorn David Pitcairn and his mother was Mariotta Menteith. His paternal grandparents were 15th Laird of Dreghorn Henry Pitcairn and Isabella Balfour. He was an only child. He died at the age of 60 in 1620 in Ayrshire, Scotland.1 General Notes
