William B. Foster 
William B. was born on April 9th, 1822 in Shenandoah Co, Virginia. William B.'s father was MEREDITH Foster and his mother was Margaret Boyer. His paternal grandparents were John Foster and Agnes Ward. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Henry H, John E, Abner M, Robert, Charles N, Mary Jane, Catherine Ann and Margaret Rachel. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died in California.-
