Robert Ward Foster 
Robert Ward was born on September 12th, 1913 in Davie, North Carolina.1 Robert Ward's father was Romulus Alvin Foster and his mother was Nannie Bell Smith. His paternal grandparents were Brainard Taylor Foster and Elizabeth Ann Frye. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John Taylor, Walter Glenn, James Thomas, Billy Clay, Alvin Gene "Butterbean", Blanche Elizabeth and Wilma F. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 68 on July 27th, 1982 in Mocksville, Davie, North Carolina, United States of America.-
