Romulus Alvin was born on February 27th, 1885 in Davie County, North Carolina, USA.1 Romulus Alvin's father was Brainard Taylor Foster and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Frye. His paternal grandparents were William M Foster and Emeline Potts. He had a brother and three sisters, named William Anderson, Vertie Belle, Tennie E. and Minnie Pantha. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 76 on September 19th, 1961 in Morganton, Burke, North Carolina, USA. He was buried on September 21st, 1961 in Yadkin Valley Cemetery.1 -
