Mary Walton was born on January 20th, 1920 in Davie, North Carolina. Mary Walton's father was Joseph Henry Foster and her mother was Sallie Odell Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Weldon " William" Goode Foster and Zilphia "Silpha" Jarvis. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Joseph William, Joseph W, Arland M, Cleland Miller, Cleland Miller, Alvin W, Alvin, Martha Evelyn, Evelina, Mary W. and Nina May. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Herman, John Kerr, Nola Shell, Ila Ida, Charlotte B., Nannie A, Maggie L and Clara. She died at just 12 days old on February 1st, 1920 in Smith Grove, Davie, North Carolina.-
