Jo Ann "Josie" was born on October 16th, 1876 in Barren County Kentucky. Jo Ann "Josie"'s father was Joseph "Joe " Riley Foster and her mother was Martha Jim Scott. Her paternal grandparents were James Ward Foster and Susanna Huffman. She had a brother named Ludington Powell "Lute". She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 32 on June 6th, 1909 in Barren Co.Ky. She was buried in June 1909 in Peden Cemetery , Temple Hill ,Barren Co , Ky.-
