Diadema Elkin 
Diadema was born on November 11th, 1821. Diadema's father was Abel Elkin and her mother was Mary (Polly) Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were William (Squire) Skaggs and Mary Simpson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Melton, James, Abel ,Jr., Rachel, Nancy, Betty, Polly and Melvina. She was the third youngest of the nine children.-
