Samuel A. Colyer 
Samuel A. was born on October 27th, 1865 in Cherry Grove Community, Pulaski County, Kentucky. Samuel A.'s father was Lindsey Robert Colyer and his mother was Nancy Jane Richardson. His paternal grandparents were John Wesley Colyer and Lydia Memes Purvis. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named John Perry, Cyrenius, Robert Lindsey, Lydia Margaret (Liddie), Elizabeth, Paulina Jane (Lina), Lucinda Sophia, Mary Belle, Nancy Ellen, Virginia (Jenne), Lucinda Debora (Lucy) and Alice. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 8 on March 29th, 1874 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.General Notes
