Samuel Colyer 
Samuel was born on May 22nd, 1884 in Pulaski Co KY. Samuel's father was Charles Grenade Colyer and his mother was Louisa Jane Meece. His paternal grandparents were John Wesley Colyer and Lydia Memes Purvis. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Cyrenus W., Charles G. Jr., Nathaniel, Guarfield (Garfield), Sarah Elizabeth, Liddie (Lydia), Harriet and Nevada Ellen. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 in February 1972.General Notes
