William Roland Cary 
William Roland was born on February 18th, 1885 in Westport, Carroll Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1930.1 William Roland's father was James Benjamin Cary and his mother was Eliza Ann Kirksey. His paternal grandparents were William W. Cary and Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Marvin Esker, Sidney Cass, David Lige, Elmer Charles, Albert Lyde, Felix Graden, James Gray, Ludie May, Hattie, Pearlie Ester, Clevie and Mattie C.. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 69 in 1954 in Westport, Carroll Co, TN. He was buried in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
