David Lige Cary 
David Lige was born on January 2nd, 1896 in Yuma, Carroll Co, TN and his baptism took place in Living In.1 David Lige's father was James Benjamin Cary and his mother was Eliza Ann Kirksey. His paternal grandparents were William W. Cary and Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named William Roland, Marvin Esker, Sidney Cass, Elmer Charles, Albert Lyde, Felix Graden, James Gray, Ludie May, Hattie, Pearlie Ester, Clevie and Mattie C.. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 44 in 1940 in Carroll Co, TN. He was buried in 1940 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
