William W. Cary 
William W. was born on May 1st, 1816 in Orange Co, NC.1 William W.'s father was Thomas Cary and his mother was Elizabeth Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Abner Roberts and Winnifred Bonner. He had seven brothers named Samuel Harrison, Michael, James Moses, Green, Thomas C., Marion and Reubin Caps. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 78 on July 14th, 1894 in Carroll Co, TN. He was buried on July 16th, 1894 in Blount Cemetery, Carroll Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
