Samuel Harrison Cary 
Samuel Harrison was born on August 14th, 1814 in Granville, Orange Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1870.1 Samuel Harrison's father was Thomas Cary and his mother was Elizabeth Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Abner Roberts and Winnifred Bonner. He had seven brothers named William W., Michael, James Moses, Green, Thomas C., Marion and Reubin Caps. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 73 on November 27th, 1887 in Henderson Co, TN. He was buried on November 29th, 1887 in Cary Cemetery, Natchez Trace Park, Henderson Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
