Major Miles Cary 
Major Miles was born in 1698 in Skiffs Creek, Warwick, Virginia. Major Miles' father was Lt. Col. William Cary and his mother was Martha Scarisbrook. His maternal grandparents were Lt. Col. John Scarisbrook and Mary Martiau. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Harwood, William, John, Martha and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the six children.-
