Winifred Carter

Winifred was born in 1543.¹ Winifred's father was William Carter Sr. and her mother was Elizabeth Glover Cranfield. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Carter and Emily Anstell; her maternal grandparents were William Glover Cranfield and Katherine Cranfield. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Peter, Paradise, Mary and Milicent. She was the second oldest of the six children.
