Milicent Carter

Milicent was born in 1547 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England.¹ Milicent's father was William Carter Sr. and her mother was Elizabeth Glover Cranfield. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Carter and Emily Anstell; her maternal grandparents were William Glover Cranfield and Katherine Cranfield. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Peter, Paradise, Winifred and Mary. She was the third youngest of the six children.
