Nicholas COURTENAY 
Nicholas was born about 1511.1 Nicholas' father was William COURTENAY and his mother was Margaret EDGCOMBE. His paternal grandparents were William COURTENAY and Cecily CHENEY. He had four brothers named George, Peter, Henry and Anthony. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Philip, John, James, Thomas, Gertrude, Katherine and Elizabeth. He died after 1554.1 General Notes
