Bob's obituary was in "The Lamar County Echo" April 9, 1981. It reads as follows:
Bob. D. Clement, 72, of 611 6th SE died April 4, 1981 in a local hospital. Funeral services wee held Tuesday morning, April 7th in Steele and Thomas Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Eddy Johnson officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Clement was born in Clardy on Sep. 6, 1908, son of Robert W. Clement and Betty Anderson Clement. He married Lola Lois Parker in Cooper in 1928; she preceded him in death in 1979. He married Mable Moore in Paris in 1980.
He was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church. He was a shipping clerk for the Falcon Manufacturing Co. in Carrolton for a number of years.
Surviving are his wife, Mable; three sons, Silas Clement of Blossom, Ray Clement of Farmers Branch, and Bobby Clement of Lewisville; one step son, daughter, Ann Miller of Richardson; one brother, Lewis Clement of Clardy; one sister, Peggy Evans of Paris; seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren,and three step great-grandchildren.
