Uriah P. Beatty

Uriah was born in 1822 in Kentucky.¹   Uriah's father was William Beatty and his mother was Lydia A, Shaw.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Beatty and Mary McConnell. He had four brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Henry, Francis, Adam and Jane.  He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Beatty, Sarah, Cassa and Elizabeth.
