Adam D. Beatty

Adam was born in 1832 in Big Clifty, Grayson Co., Kentucky.¹   Adam's father was William Beatty and his mother was Lydia A, Shaw.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Beatty and Mary McConnell. He had four brothers and a sister, named Uriah, Joseph, Henry, Francis and Jane.  He was the second youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Beatty, Sarah, Cassa and Elizabeth.
