Elizabeth Welty

Elizabeth was born on June 14th, 1838.¹   Elizabeth's father was John C Welty and her mother was Elizabeth Hauff. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Lafayette, Elbert, John, Joseph S, Casper, Margaret and Suzannah.  She was the oldest of the eight children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Alexander Houston, Ason, Martin DeShazo, George Washington, William Albert, Sarah Caroline (Sallie), Ida May Minerva and Mary Hester Belzora.  She died at the age of 16 on October 18th, 1854.¹
