Ason Welty

Ason was born on January 29th, 1871.¹   Ason's father was John C Welty and his mother was Lydia H Sharp. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander Houston, Martin DeShazo, George Washington, William Albert, Sarah Caroline (Sallie), Ida May Minerva and Mary Hester Belzora.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Lafayette, Elbert, John, Joseph S, Casper, Elizabeth, Margaret and Suzannah.¹
