Henry Brooker Malphrus 
Henry Brooker was born on December 24th, 1866 in Ridgeland, Jasper Co., SC.1 Henry Brooker's father was Seaborn Nathaniel Malphrus and his mother was Sarah Jane Mulligan. His paternal grandparents were William Edward Malphrus and Kitsiah Woods; his maternal grandparents were Francis Mulligan and Eliza Lavonia Dean. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named William Francis, George Washington, Joseph, Ashby Marcellus, Andrew O., Cary Woodville, Cornelius Edward, Albert Preacher, Sarah Ida and Anna Ada. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 93 on March 11th, 1960.1 -
