Nancy was born about 1776.  Nancy's father was Frederick Fraley and her mother was Chloe M. Fraley.  Her paternal grandparents were Frederick Fraley and Mary Unknown. She had eleven brothers and three sisters, named James, Martin, John, William, Isaac Oliver, Frederick, Henry, Benjamin, Thomas, Daniel, Reuben, Mary, Jesse and Sarah.  She was the seventh oldest of the fifteen children.
