Leopold I George von Sachsen-Coburg

Leopold I George was born on December 16th, 1790 in Coburg, Germany.  Leopold I George's father was Francis Friedrich Duke von Sachsen-Coburg and his mother was Augusta Countess von Reuss-Ebersdorf.  His paternal grandparents were Ernest Friedrich Duke von Sachsen-Coburg and Sophia Antonia Prinsessin von Brunswick; his maternal grandparents were Henry XXIV Count von Reuss-Ebersdorf and Caroline Countess von Erbach-Schonberg. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Ernest I Duke, Ferdinand, Victoria Mary, Antoinette, Sophie and Julie.  He died at the age of 74 on December 10th, 1865 in Laeken, Belgium.
