Carl Friedrich Huttenhoff 
Carl Friedrich was born on July 6th, 1856 in Schwelm, Westfalen, Prussia.1 Carl Friedrich's father was Carl August Huttenhoff and his mother was Wilhelmine Schemmann. His paternal grandparents were Johann Peter Huttenhoff and Anna Catherina Kotting; his maternal grandparents were Friedrich Schemmann and Carolina Rahlenbeck. He had four brothers named Carl August, Wilhelm, Heinrich and Julius. He was the oldest of the five children.1 -
