Benjamin Devore 
Benjamin was born in 1781 in Cross Creek Twp, Washington, PA.1 Benjamin's father was Nicholas Devore and his mother was Sarah Decker. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Devore and Sarah. He had three brothers and six sisters, named David, Nicholas, Abner, Naomi, Susannah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Abigail and Sarah. He was the third youngest of the ten children.1
