Geoffrey De Gaunt 
Geoffrey was born about 1080 in Of, Folkingham, Lincolnshire, England.1 Geoffrey's father was Gilbert von Gand and his mother was Alice von Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Ralph von Gand and Gisele; his maternal grandfather was Hugh von Montfort. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Ralph, Hugh De, Robert, Gilbert, Walter, De Gant, Felia, Emma, Matilda and Alice. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.1 -
