William McCreery 
William was born on January 19th, 1842 in Warwick Twp, Tuscarawas, Oh. William's father was James McCreery and his mother was Sarah Williams. His paternal grandparents were John Clark McCreery and Maragret Slutz; his maternal grandfather is Thomas Williams and his maternal grandmother was Druscilla Jennings. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Wesley, Harvy, James Asbury and Melissa E.. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 90 in 1932 in Gnadenhutten, Tuscarawas Co, OH.General Notes

Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a republican. He enlisted in the
