Mathilde of Leiningen

Mathilde of was born about 1273 in Alt-Leiningen, Pfalz, Bavaria, Germany.  Mathilde of's father was Friedrich IV von Leiningen and her mother was Johanne of Sponheim-Kreuznach.  Her paternal grandparents are Friedrich III von Leiningen and Adelheid of Habsburg; her maternal grandparents are Simon I of Sponheim and Margarethe von Hengebach. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Friedrich V of, Gottfried, Emich, Ferriata of and Agnes of.  She is the third oldest of the six children.
