James Shelby Hamilton

James Shelby was born in 1840 in Jefferson Co, OH. James Shelby's father was James Hamilton and his mother was Esther Hunter. His paternal grandparents were William Hamilton and Maria Barbara Keighler; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Hunter and Mary Larimore. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel Hunter, Johathan Tidball, Mary Hunter, Ann Almira, Nancy Snodgrass and Haddassah Mariash. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 24 on October 20th, 1864.
