Phillipa De Hainault 
Phillipa was born on June 24th, 1311 in Hainault, Flanders. Phillipa's father was Willem III De Avesnes and her mother was Jeanne De Valois. Her paternal grandparents were Jean II De Avesnes and Philippine De Luxembourg; her maternal grandparents were Charles I Capet De Valois and Marguerite De Naples. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Jan, Willem IV, Louis, Sibylla, Margaretha, Johanna, Agnaes, Catherine and Elisabeth. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 58 on August 15th, 1369 in Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England. She was buried in Westminster Abbey, Westminster, Middlesex, England.General Notes
