Peter was born about 1287 in Davenport, Astbury, Cheshire, England. Peter's father was Thomas De Davenport and his mother is Agnes De Macclesfield. His paternal grandparents were Roger De Davenport and Mary Salemon; his maternal grandparents are Thomas De Macclesfield and UNKNOWN Milicent. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Roger, Maude, Millicent and Roes. He is the third youngest of the seven children.-
