William Cyrus Straw 
William Cyrus was born on February 10th, 1893 in Gravity, Taylor, IA. William Cyrus' father was Israel Samuel Straw and his mother was Emmeline Mahala Gartrell. His paternal grandfather was Cyrus Griffith Straw and his paternal grandmother is Sally Mae Sterns. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Verne Gilbert, Benjamin Franklin, Ira Irlie, Daniel, Jess, Bessie, Elizabeth Ann, Katherine Olive, Ida Ellen, Ina Pearl, Bessy King, Ethel A and Mary.
