Lewis Edgar Sawyer 
Lewis Edgar was born on November 27th, 1861 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Lewis Edgar's father was Luther Sawyer and his mother was Susan Adeline Littlefield. His maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Littlefield and Mary Bartlett Thurston. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Albert Eugene, Orrin Leroy, Harvey Calvin, Luther Jere, Bessie Ellen, Daisy Ada and Susan Mary. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 77 on March 3rd, 1939 in East Andover, New Hampshire.-
