Susan Adeline was born on September 22nd, 1839 in Danbury, New Hampshire. Susan Adeline's father was Jeremiah Littlefield and her mother was Mary Bartlett Thurston. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Littlefield and Sarah Colby. She had three brothers and five sisters, named George, Lewis, Fitz Henry, Frances Augusta, Eliza Jane, Mary Jane, Phebe and Abby Hoyt. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 47 on December 13th, 1886 in Andover, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.-
