Mary Colby 
Mary was born on April 8th, 1848 in St. Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada. Mary's father was Philander Colby and her mother was Rachel Ferguson. Her paternal grandfather was David Colby and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Farrington. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Lorenzo W., Fredrick E., Cyrus, George Wellington, Experience, Charlotte and Sarah Jane. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 50 on December 4th, 1898.-
