Thomas Thurgood 
Thomas was born in 1525 in Stansted. Thomas' father was William Thorowgood and his mother was Joanne UNKNOWN. His paternal grandfather was Geoffrey Thorowgood. He had four brothers named Geoffrey, John Of Birchanger, Nicholas and Robert. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 65 in 1590.1 General Notes

‌Thomas and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony in 1557 in Birchanger. They had three sons and a daughter, named Thomas, John, George and Prudence.
