Sarah Diamond

Sarah was born on September 2nd, 1803 in Ernestown, Frontenac County, Ontario and her baptism took place there on July 10th, 1805. Sarah's father was John Diamond and her mother was Christiana Loyst. Her paternal grandfather is Johannes Diamond and her paternal grandmother was Maretje Schott; her maternal grandparents are Johann Cheban Loyst and Annoka Magdalena Lydecker. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, John, Abraham, William Frederick, Baltus, Andrew, Henry, Jane "Jinny", Margaret, Catherine, Mary, Clara and Anne. She was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 28 on May 15th, 1832.
