William De Clare 
William was born on May 18th, 1228 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England. William's father was Gilbert De Clare and his mother was Isabel Mareschal. His paternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Amice Fitzrobert; his maternal grandmother is UNKNOWN UNKNOWN. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Richard, Gilbert, Joan, Maud, Susan, Amica, Isabel, Adeliza and Agnes. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Henry, Nicholas and Isabella. He died in Retherford. He was buried on July 23rd, 1258 in Dureford Abbey.General Notes
