Philomela Spencer 
Philomela was born on September 20th, 1788 in Sidney Plains, Delaware, New York, USA.1 Philomela's father was Orange Spencer and her mother was Sarah Bostwick. Her maternal grandfather was Jessie Bostwick and her maternal grandmother is Betsey Canfield. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Gauis Lawrence, Orange Bostwick, Sylvester, Gilbert, Silas, Ruth, Lena and Sena. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 71 in 1859.1 -
