Gilbert Spencer 
Gilbert was born on July 18th, 1804 in North East, Erie, Pennsylvania, USA.1 Gilbert's father was Orange Spencer and his mother was Sarah Bostwick. His maternal grandfather was Jessie Bostwick and his maternal grandmother is Betsey Canfield. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Gauis Lawrence, Orange Bostwick, Sylvester, Silas, Philomela, Ruth, Lena and Sena. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 72 in 1876.1 -
